Kim Bo-kyung Debuts as Sub for Cardiff

Kim Bo-kyung made his debut for Cardiff City in the Championship, England's second-tier football league, in a match against Millwall at The Den in London on Wednesday (Korean time). He substituted Craig Noone in the 80th minute when the team was 2-0 up.

Kim, who transferred from Cerezo Osaka in the J-League in July, was benched for the two previous matches due to his busy schedule with the Korean national team, which recently drew with Uzbekistan for the final round of Asian qualifiers for the 2016 World Cup.

"It was quite a surprise once I was on the pitch as games in this league are really physical, aggressive affairs. It was very different from how I thought it would be when I watched from the bench," he said. "I'll do my best to adapt to the team quickly so I can play in as many games as possible."
