Lotte Mart opened its 100th Chinese store in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, only five years after it entered the market. It hopes to rank among the top five retailers there by 2015.

After making inroads into China in 2007, it has now emerged as the Korean retailer with the largest number of stores in the market.
