British pop star Elton John will hold concerts in Korea after an eight-year absence from the country.
The shows will be staged at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul on Nov. 27 and at BEXCO in Busan on Nov. 29. This comes as part of his worldwide tour that fetes the 40th anniversary of his hit song "Rocket Man," which is also one of his nicknames.
"This year's concerts will be much larger in scale, with more attention paid to detail, than his concert back in 2004," said the local organizer of the event.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday at noon, with prices ranging from W77,000 to W250,000 (US$1=W1,118). For more information, call 1544-1555.
