Seat Belts Mandatory in Taxis, Buses from November

Starting later this year, drivers of large chartered buses and taxis will face fines if their passengers are caught without their seatbelts fastened.

A law due to take effect on Nov. 24 states that drivers will be fined W100,000 (US$1=W1,136) if they fail to instruct their passengers to buckle up before departing.
