Police to Resume Random Stop and Search

The National Police Agency on Sunday said it is reviving random questioning of the public in the streets to prevent motiveless and sex crimes that have recently shaken the nation.

Police officers will be able to stop, search and question people if they have reason for suspicion. The practice was stopped two years ago by the National Human Rights Commission.
