President Lee Myung-bak will attend the 20th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit from next Friday to Sunday in Vladivostok, Russia.

Cheong Wa Dae on Thursday said Lee is then scheduled to visit Greenland, Norway and Kazakhstan before returning home on Sept. 14.

Asked about the likelihood of a Korea-Japan summit on the sidelines, Cheong Wa Dae said no meeting is planned at this point.
