Korea added another silver medal in the men's 50-m rifle 3 positions event at the Royal Artillery Barracks on Sunday after Kim Jong-hyun racked up 1,272.5 points.
Italy's Niccolo Campriani led the field with 1,278.5 points and Matthew Emmons of the U.S. won bronze with 1,271.3. Kim's final-round score of 101.5 was the best overall, but not enough to close the gap with Campriani.

Korean shooters have now finished all the events scheduled during the London Olympic Games, amassing three gold and two silver medals overall, the country's best performance after fencing, in which it netted six medals. In the gold-medal count, Korean shooters did as well as Korean archers by amassing three gold.
No other country claimed as many shooting medals as Korea, although the U.S. was the runner-up with three gold and one bronze.
