Samsung Electronics will release its new tablet PC, the Galaxy Note 10.1, in the U.S. next week. Samsung will hold a launch at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York on Aug. 15, U.S. Tech media website CNET reported.
Earlier, Samsung sent out invites to the press along with the tagline "Meet the new way" emblazoned in the shape of a tablet PC.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a 10.1-inch display as well as a digital pen, just like the Galaxy Note smartphone. It runs Google's Android operating system.
The Korean giant premiered the new tablet PC at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, where it said it would roll it out in the U.S. around August.
