With one win and two draws, Korea advanced to the quarterfinals as the runner-up in Group B. Mexico, who beat Switzerland 1-0 to collect two wins and one draw from the group stage, landed the top spot in Group B.
Korea will face the U.K., the winner of Group A, in the quarterfinals in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
