Mid-Sized Firms Report Lack of Growth Engines

An increasing number of medium-sized companies suffer from a lack of growth potential.

Based on a survey of 353 medium-sized firms across the country, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday said 40 percent of respondents complained that the growth potential of their flagship business had almost run out. Some 48 percent said they still had a little growth potential left.

The firms' flagship business accounted for an alarming average of 86 percent of their total sales.
