Airfare fuel surcharges have dropped 19.2 percent after already falling 10 percent last month. The average fuel surcharge on a round trip to and from the Americas is W310,000 (US$1=W1,146) this month, down W70,000 from June and more than W120,000 from May.

The fuel surcharge on international flights now stands Level 13, down three levels from last month and five from April and May.

Fuel surcharges for flights to Europe and Africa fell from $316 to $256. The surcharge on flights to Japan dropped by $10 to $44, and to China and Hong Kong by $18 to $76.
