South Korea and the U.S. will hold their biggest joint military drill on Friday to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the Korean War. The day-long drill, which will take place in the northeastern city of Pocheon, will involve more than 19,000 troops and spectators.
The South Korean Air Force's airborne early warning and control aircraft dubbed Peace Eye and T-50 Golden Eagle trainer jets will participate in this week's joint drill for the first time as will its new artillery hunting radar system.
