Jason Mraz hopes the support of enthusiastic Korean fans provides a strong impetus for the launch of his world tour, the American singer-songwriter said at a press conference in Seoul on Thursday.
Mraz will kick off his world tour with a performance at BEXCO in the southern coastal city of Busan on Friday before he heads up to a music festival on Nami Island in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province over the weekend.
This is his fifth visit to Korea. His fifth album, "Love is A Four Letter Word," was released in April.
He opted for Busan to add diversity to his itinerary and to give fans outside the capital a chance to enjoy his live performance, he said.
Mraz won two Grammy Awards including Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "I'm Yours" in 2010.
