Almost one month since it opened on May 12, the 2012 Yeosu Expo has attracted over 1 million visitors from around the world.
The aquarium has been by far the most popular attraction, with up to 70,000 people passing through its gates on peak days.
But the line for the exhibit stretches 3 to 4 km on average, entailing tediously long waits of several hours. After visitors complained about the reservation system, organizers scrapped it and switched to handing out tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis for all 77 pavilions.
The organizing committee said they are seeking ways to make the wait as entertaining as possible.
All pavilions close at 9 p.m., giving evening pass holders just three hours to enjoy the exhibitions. The expo still has another two months to run, giving it enough time to make the necessary improvements.
