Radio Free Asia on Thursday unveiled a satellite picture of North Korea's missile launch pad in Tongchang-ri, North Pyongan Province.

The radio station and website got the picture from commercial satellite imagery company GeoEye.

It was taken on Tuesday, four days after North Korea announced its plan to launch what it says is a satellite-bearing rocket. Construction work was already going on in the area in 2009, but there seems to be no construction going on now.

The launch pad appears to be fully paved. The rocket cannot be seen, but the launch pad looks ready for use any time.
