Among Korean footballers who are currently playing in Europe, Manchester United's Park Ji-sung, who has enjoyed several years at the top of England's Premier League with the club, still has the highest market value of 9.5 million euros (W14.2 billion), according to data released on Wednesday by Transfermarkt, a German football portal that focuses on news in the European transfer market.

Park's market value, calculated at 11.5 million euros in June 2010 ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, has declined in the last two years as the 31-year-old approaches retirement age.
