Korean Cars Dominate Jordan's Used Car Market

Jordan has ranked as the largest market for Korean secondhand car dealers for the last four years and sales are still going strong.

The state-run Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on Tuesday that Korea exported over 90,000 used cars to the country last year. This accounted for over 30 percent of Korea's total used auto exports.

KOTRA also estimates that 60 percent of the cars currently in use in Jordan were manufactured in Korea.

Globally, Korea exported about 20 percent more secondhand cars last year than it did in 2010.
