Glyn Davies, the U.S. special representative on North Korea, will visit Seoul on Saturday, following high-level nuclear talks this week between the U.S. and the North in Beijing.
South Korea's foreign ministry says Davies will meet with Seoul's top nuclear envoy, Lim Sung-nam, to debrief him on what was achieved during the third round of talks between Washington and Pyongyang.
Davies and the North's First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan are expected to discuss ending Pyongyang's nuclear programs and resuming the long-stalled six-party denuclearization talks on Thursday. The meeting will be the first since North Korea's former leader Kim Jong-il died in December.
