Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has been named one of the 11 top beauties heading to this year's London Olympics by Pantene.
The global hair care brand under Procter & Gamble, which is officially sponsoring the 2012 Games, chose 11 of 4,800 female athletes who will be competing in London and named them as its brand ambassadors.
The other athletes on the honor list are: world No. 1 rhythmic gymnast Evgenia Kanaeva from Russia; Brazilian volleyball player Jaqueline Carvalho, who picked up a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics; British cyclist and 2008 Olympics gold medalist Victoria Pendleton; Canadian swimmer and world record holder in the women's 200m breaststroke Annamay Pierse; American swimmer Natalie Coughlin, who won six medals in Beijing; and Australian swimmer Emily Seebohm, who pocketed gold in the 4x100 m medley relay in Beijing.
They also include Japanese swimmer Aya Terakawa, who won silver in the women's 50m backstroke at last year's world championships; Beijing Olympics diving gold medalist Wu Minxia from China; diver Paola Espinosa from Mexico, who picked up a bronze in Beijing; and tennis ace Gisela Dulko from Argentina, the former women's doubles world No. 1.
