Korea's Olympic football team, which will face Saudi Arabia in the fourth match of the final round of Asian qualifiers on Feb. 5 ahead of this year's London Games, assembled at the National Football Center in Paju on Wednesday for light training.
Later that day, the team left for Doha, Qatar, where they will train until Feb. 2 before finally moving to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, where the match will be held.
Korea is leading Group A with seven points from two wins and one draw over Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. If Korea manages to beat Saudi Arabia, and Oman on Feb. 22, it will advance to the Olympics regardless of the outcome of the final match against Qatar.
The 21 players making the trip to the Middle East were all selected from the 25-member squad that won the King's Cup in Thailand last week, including Seo Jung-jin and Baek Sung-dong.
