Nineteen out of 34 Korean survivors who were aboard the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia when it ran aground in the Mediterranean returned home on Thursday. They appeared to be still in shock as they recalled the accident.

The 19 lost most or all of their clothing and belongings and wore sweat shirts and padded jumpers provided by the Korean Embassy in Italy when they arrived at Incheon International Airport.

One newly-wed Korean couple who made headlines for being the last to be rescued 30 hours after the accident, said, "At first we were very scared, but we've calmed down a lot now."

They embraced their families who were waiting for them at the airport and were taken home.
