Girls' Generation have abruptly canceled the planned Oct. 5 release of their third album "The Boys" after promotion already got into full swing.
Management agency SM Entertainment in a press release Sunday said the album has been "postponed" but when it will be released is now uncertain.
SM Entertainment said it originally made the album for a worldwide audience and is delaying the release because it needs "more time to think more about the marketing strategy that this worldwide album deserves."
