A group of North Korean taekwondo athletes started their tour in the United States on Saturday.
The 17-member demonstration tea performed in New York City on Sunday and will stage another performance in Pennsylvania on Tuesday as part of a goodwill exchange. The team heads back home on Thursday.
Taekwondo has gained a lot of international popularity over the years. It became a full medal sport at the Summer Olympics in 2000.
A representative of North Korea's UN Mission expects the tour to help thaw relations between Washington and Pyongyang. This is the group's second visit to the U.S. Its first was in 2007.
