A follow-up to a documentary to "On The Border" produced by the Chosun Ilbo on the plight of North Korean refugees, will be aired on EBS TV's "DocuPrime" program at 9:50 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday.

The three 52-minute episodes depict defectors' dangerous escape from North Korea. The documentary was produced with the support of the Korea Creative Content Agency, the Foundation for Broadcast Culture, and the Center for Asian American Media.

"Across Land, Across Sea" on Monday traces the struggle by refugee Song Sung-kook to bring his wife's family to the South. "Crossing Three Borders" on Tuesday follows North Korean refugees who stormed into the Danish Embassy in Vietnam in pursuit of freedom. And "Seeking Haven" on Wednesday is about three North Korean sisters who live in China, South Korea and New Zealand.

Actress Jeon Do-yeon, and actors Ji Jin-hee and Ha Jung-woo did the voiceover.

To make the film, a special Chosun Ilbo team spent two years and five months traveling to China, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, the U.S., France, and Belgium. Some members were arrested by Chinese police while filming in the border area.
