More than 2,000 pieces of ancient Korean literature will be made available over the Internet from the U.S.
According to the Research Institute of Korean Studies at Korea University on Thursday, a third of some 2,200 literary works housed at the University of California Berkeley have been digitized and will be put online in July.
Nearly 600 works of ancient Korean writings kept in the U.S. have been uploaded to the Internet since 2006, but the latest is the largest batch so far.
The research center said the remaining works will be digitized by the end of this year.
