Candid photos showing actor Hyun Bin in his Marines uniform were disclosed on Tuesday.

The official Marine Corps blog published the photos of Hyun (29) dressed up as a member of the 1,137th group of conscripts and saluting during the group's first-week basic training course.

The site said the way the rookie salutes "shows his firm resolve to perform his military duty."
