There will be 66 Sundays and public holidays in 2012, two more than this year, the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute said Wednesday.
Altogether there are 69 -- 53 Sundays and 16 legal holidays including parliamentary elections on April 11 and presidential elections on Dec. 19.
But New Year's Day, the first day of the Lunar New Year's holidays, and Chuseok or Korean Thanksgiving fall on Sundays, bringing the actual number to 66.
