GM Korea said Tuesday it launched a five-year product warranty program for its Chevrolet brand. Under the scheme, consumers who buy any Chevrolet vehicle from this month until the end of the year will receive a five-year, 100,000-km (whichever comes first) warranty for main parts.
The warranty also includes free replacement of consumable parts up to four times over three years, and around-the-clock emergency repair service for seven years.
Hyundai provides a five-year, 120,000-km warranty for its high-end Equus sedan, but only three years or 60,000 km for mid-sized models and two years or 40,000 km for compacts. As for imported cars, some models including the Toyota Camry are covered by a five-year, 120,000-km warranty.
