Actress Lee Da-hae will host the 2nd Seoul Art and Culture Awards to be held in Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on Monday.
The awards honor figures in the entertainment industry who showed outstanding performances or activities. Among last year's recipients were Girls' Generation, Rain, Jeon Do-yeon and Lee Bum-soo.
This year's ceremony will broaden its focus, so people from culturally marginalized groups have been invited. And some 1,500 tourists from Japan, China and Southeast Asia are also expected to fill the seats.
Lee has been chosen as she is fluent in English and Chinese, having demonstrated her language abilities when she hosted the 2009 Asia Song Festival.
