      Kim Sung-min

Actor Kim Sung-min was sentenced to two years and six months in jail and a fine of W904,500 for methamphetamine possession and smuggling and using marijuana (US$1=W1,121).

The court said the sentence takes into account that Kim not only took the drugs but shared them with others after smuggling a significant amount. The court took into consideration that he confessed to all charges and showed remorse.

Kim was convicted of smuggling methamphetamines from the Philippines in April and September 2008 and in August last year and on four counts of taking the drug and three counts of smoking marijuana in May and September last year.
