North Korea's state-run news agency launched a new website on the anniversary of the country's Workers Party, Radio Free Asia said Thursday.

The website features a picture of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il watching a military parade on the occasion of the anniversary on its front page.

The Korea Central News Agency website is also available in English and Spanish, and has menu buttons such as politics, economy, culture, and media. Each section features propaganda praising the revolutionary achievement of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il.

Information on North Korean society such as economic rebuilding and cooperation, scientific technology, films and performances is available. Access from South Korea is restricted.
