Next Year's Pro-Baseball Season to Open in April

The regular season of the Korea Professional Baseball league next year will kick off on April 2, and each team will play 133 games, the Korea Baseball Organization announced after a board meeting on Tuesday.

The KBO also allotted a budget of W1.13 billion for the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, and decided to form a committee to organize celebrations for the KBO's 30th anniversary next year.
