Three staffers of the Libyan economic liaison office including its chief who were abruptly recalled in June will reportedly return to Seoul this week.
A diplomatic source on Tuesday said the three are staying at the Libyan Embassy in Beijing and will return to Seoul around Friday so the mission can normalize work including visa issuance early next week.
That seems to end diplomatic friction between the two countries that has intensified over the last four months. Tripoli is consulting with Seoul about turning its mission in Seoul back into an embassy.
