Korean-American golfer Michelle Wie claimed her second career title in nine months by winning the Canadian Women's Open on Sunday.

Wie shot a 2-under-70 during the final round at St. Charles Country Club in Winnipeg to reach 12 under for the tournament.

Although the 20-year-old tied with Korea's Shin Ji-yai for the lead in the third round on Saturday, Wie was able to secure a three-shot victory after draining three straight birdies as well as shooting two bogeys in the final round.

Shin shot a 1-over 73 on Sunday to finish in a four-way tie for second with Kristy McPherson of the U.S., defending champion Suzann Pettersen of Norway and Korea's Lee Jee-young.
