Korea was ranked 15th in a list of the "World's Best Countries" by Newsweek magazine.
The U.S. magazine analyzed factors such as education, health care, quality of life, economic dynamism, and political environment. Finland ranked first overall while the U.S. came in 11th.
Korea's overall ranking positioned it right behind the U.K. and ahead of France. It ranked high in education, at second place, and in economic dynamism, at third. Weighing down the nation's overall score were quality of life (29th), health (23rd) and political environment (19th).
