In the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, striker Ji So-yun and midfielder Kim Na-rae have been named as candidates for the Golden Ball.

The award goes to the best player of the tournament while the Golden Boot goes to the top scorer.

No Korean player has ever won either award at a FIFA sanctioned tournament.
