Tickets to cinemas showing matches of Korean team in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa are selling like hot cakes.

According to CGV and Lotte Cinema, tickets to the Korea vs. Greece match on Saturday were nearly sold out. CGV screened the match at its 205 cinemas nationwide, and Lotte at its 106 screens. Both said over 80 percent of the tickets to the Korea vs. Argentina game on Thursday have been sold already. The remaining two matches at the group stage against Argentina and Nigeria will be shown in 3D.

Lotte Cinema plans to show the match between Greece and Nigeria on Thursday following the Korea vs. Argentina match as well.
