Yang Hyun-suk, former member of Seo Tai-ji & Boys and now CEO of YG Entertainment, one of the most successful entertainment agencies in Korea, on Tuesday disclosed he has been in a long-term relationship. Lee Eun-joo, of defunct girl group Swi.T formed by YG Entertainment, is twelve years younger than the 41-year old CEO and has been in a relationship with him for nine years, he said on his website.
"I must be madly in love or we must be made for each other as I have never thought any woman other than my girlfriend is more beautiful than her in the last nine years. We have no plans to get married within this year, but I've recently made up my mind to spend the rest of my life with her," he wrote.
Lee is the younger sister of Lee Jae-jin of Sechs Kies, another defunct manufactured band that was immensely popular in the late 1990s. After Swi.T, she joined member of Moo Ga Dang with Song Baek-kyoung of the popular hip-hop group 1TYM.
"Today is Eun-joo's 30th birthday. I hope that my difficult decision to make our relationship public can be a small present for her birthday, and I would also like to tell her how sorry I am for all the things she had to go through for the past nine years since she first met me at the tender age of 21," Yang wrote.
