Korea's global image has improved over the past 22 years.
According to a survey by Korea Gallup, 30.3 percent of respondents living in 10 countries -- the G8 nations plus Korea and China -- said that Korea is a good place to live. This is a 15.4 percentage point increase from the same survey conducted in 1988.
The number of foreigners that had experienced a Korean consumer product rose by nearly 20 percentage points to 65 percent this year, and 42 percent of respondents said that they think of Korea as a developed nation.
