'Monet to Picasso' Draws over 100,000 Visitors

      An exhibition of classic early modern paintings titled "Monet to Picasso" had drawn more than 100,000 visitors as of Tuesday.

      Held at Hangaram Art Museum of the Seoul Arts Center, it marks the 90th anniversary of the Chosun Ilbo and consists of 96 masterpieces owned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is a collection of works by impressionists and post-impressionists including Monet, Manet, Renoir and Cezanne.

      Visitors to the exhibition "Monet to Picasso" pose with their souvenirs after both became the 100,000th spectator.

      An average of 2,500 art fans visit the exhibition per day, with a daily record of 5,664 on Jan. 23. The event runs through March 28.
