The Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs on Thursday asked prosecutors to investigate G-Dragon, the leader of boy band Big Bang, over indecent content of songs and performances.
The ministry asked prosecutors to investigate if the 21-year-old singer-songwriter sang "She's Gone" and "Korean Dream," which has been classified under the youth protection law, and gave an obscene performance, which may be against the criminal law, during his solo concert in Seoul on Dec. 6
"She's Gone" and "Korean Dream" were ruled inappropriate for young listeners on Nov. 3, but G-Dragon sang them while a violent video clip was played on stage.
He also allegedly made sexually provocative gestures while singing "Breathe."
