The Korean Wave has landed in Turkey as more and more people there fall in love with Korean movies and dramas.

A local Korean community news service says there are nearly a dozen off-line fan groups made up of young Turks who love Korean films, TV dramas, music, and food. Some 20,000 people are estimated to log onto online communities to share information.

These avid fans of Korean culture reportedly want more access to Korean language books, an outlet to exchange various cultural products, affordable Korean cuisine, and opportunities to meet Korean celebrities.
