A Korean wine has been rated and scored for the first time by the Robert Parker Rating System.
Diony Castle Wine of Hoengseong, Gangwon Province announced on Thursday that its 2007 Domaine Han 23B received 80 points in the famous critic's 100-point rating system.
Robert Parker is one of the most influential wine critics in the world and wine prices can soar or plummet based on his so-called Parker Points ratings.
The review for the Korean wine on his website (www.erobertparker.com) reads, "The palate gives crisp acidity and soft silky tannins. Medium finish. Not bad. Drink now."
