MLB's Park Chan-ho Visits Korea After World Series

The second Korean baseball player ever to play in the MLB World Series, Park Chan-ho, returned to his homeland and held a press conference after a 4-2 series loss to the New York Yankees.

Park gave up a starting position to join the Philadelphia Phillies as a relief pitcher and played an enormous role in getting the team back to the World Series for a second year in a row. His one-year contract has expired and he is now a free agent in the MLB.

When asked what his next move would be, Park said he would like to sign as a starting pitcher again for a team that has the potential to make it to the Series.

Park has been pitching professionally in the MLB since 1994 but has yet to wear a World Series ring. For now pitcher Kim Byung-hyun remains the only Korean baseball player to have that honor.
