Park Yong-oh

The former chairman of the Doosan Group has died from an apparent suicide.

According to police, Park Yong-oh was found dead in his home in northern Seoul at around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The cause of death is still under investigation with police speaking to members of the family, although authorities believe the ex-chairman hanged himself.

Park, who took over a construction firm last year, was reportedly under extreme pressure running the company due to difficulties from the economic slump.
