The Seoul Metropolitan Government will auction off gifts from foreign dignitaries presented to mayors of Seoul, it announced Wednesday. The online auction begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, and the highest bidders as of midnight of Nov. 4 will win the bid.

The auction will take place on the homepage of the Seoul Metropolitan Government (www.seoul.go.kr) or Wow Seoul (wow.seoul.go.kr). To attract expatriates in Korea, English, Chinese and Japanese notices are available. Foreign nationals can take part by entering their foreigner registration number.

All profits from the auction will be donated to welfare programs for the poor the city is running.
