Digital Media City in Sangam-dong will play host to the Seoul DMC Culture Open 2009, a digital culture festival, from Oct. 15 through 17.
Some 20 programs that show the crossover of the latest media technology and diverse cultural and artistic genres will be presented during the festival.
The Digital Art Exhibition is held from Oct. 15 through 17 on the fourth floor of KGIT. The Digital Film Festival will showcase experimental short films created with the support of the Seoul Animation Center and Greta Garbo's first silent film "Gosta Berling," which will be shown in Korea for the first time. Other favorites from the 1930s will also be screened.
The Digital Concert featuring traditional Korean music will take place at the Nurikkum Square on the evening of Oct. 15. On Oct. 15 and 16, the DMC Game World at the special outdoor stage will feature the "Karma 2" survival game.
A digital fashion show featuring costumes worn by game characters and futuristic digital concept costumes created by prominent designers will be presented at the outdoor stage on the evening of Oct. 17. "Ready DMC Action!" allows anyone to become a stuntman, recreating action scenes from films.
