North and South Koreans separated from their families in the aftermath of the Korean War on Sunday met for the first time in over 60 years at North Korea's Mt. Kumgang resort. The reunions come ahead of Chuseok or Korean Thanksgiving, which falls this Friday.
Some 97 South Koreans met 228 North Korean family members. They return home on Monday. In the second reunion, on Tuesday through Thursday, 99 North Koreans will meet 449 South Korean family members.
