Korea-Japan Exchanges Festival Kicks Off in Seoul

Hundreds of people gathered at Seoul Plaza on Sunday to celebrate the fifth annual Korea-Japan Exchanges Festival.

The event, which first began in 2005 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Japan, has now grown into a joint-celebration by the two Asian neighbors.

More than 500 performers took part in the festival in the hope that it will bring Korea and Japan closer together and create a brighter future between them.
