Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte

Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark will receive an honorary doctoral degree from Seoul Women's University awarded by university president Rhee Kwang-ja on Wednesday morning.

The 65-year-old princess, whose full name is Princess Benedikte Astrid Ingeborg Ingrid of Denmark, is a younger sister of reigning Queen Margrethe II and the protector of the Danish Guide and Scout Association.

Seoul Women's University said it is awarding Princess Benedikte the honorary degree because her achievements "in nurturing future women leaders match the vision and goal of the university."
